There is never a dull moment on this strategic effort, a cornerstone for the nation's security! The Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program will completely replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, an undertaking not performed in over 50 years. This program is considered a "mega-project" and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. The new ICBM weapon system acquisition effort brings with it the newest digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements, while having the adaptability and flexibility to affordably address changing technology and threat environments through 2075. As part of the U.S. Air Force's Integration Support Contract (ISC), BAE Systems provides advisory and assistance services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of the Sentinel ICBM Prime Contractor.

BAE is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer accountable to the Sentinel Training Systems Branch Program Manager for all tasks assigned. You will be part of a tight-knit team charged with supporting the acquisition and development of Sentinel Training Systems. As an Electrical Engineer, you will help lead the integration of training devices with various networks and facilities that house the devices, as well as ensuring requirements are met, understood, and applied. Day-to-day, your opportunities include working with a team of approximately fifteen Training Systems personnel to plan, organize, manage, and oversee technical and administrative activities related to the design and development of the components. You will also provide expert advice and support to Sentinel leaders on all aspects of Sentinel Trainers, supporting ICBM Missile Operators, Maintainers, Security Forces, Trainer Facilities, and Training Programs and Procedures throughout the acquisition cycle. You will support the team using Earned Value Management, Agile, and Model Based Systems Engineering best practices. Who You Are

* Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
* 7 years (with BS) or 5 years (with MS) directly related experience
* At least 3 years progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
* Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation completed < 6 years prior to hiring Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
* ICBM training systems, maintenance, or operations experience
* ICBM Acquisitions experience
* Professional Engineering License
* Systems Engineering experience and/or Certification
* Project Management Professional Certification
* Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
* Agile, Earned Value Management, Control Account Management
* USAF Nuclear topic education
* Engineering/Agile tools: Cameo, MATLAB, DOORS, JIRA, Confluence
* Classified government IT systems
