After the completion of one year of service and 1,000 worked hours, PRN Staff are eligible to participate in the Acadia Healthcare 401(k) plan.
Therapist Per Diem (PRN) needed for weekday and weekend shifts. Responsible for diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective or behavioral. Apply psychotherapeutic theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed emotional and mental disorders.
Provides assessment, interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning, as well as providing individual, family, and/or group therapy to further patient/family/group progress in treatment according to JCAHO, Federal and State Regulations, Acadia Greenleaf’s Mission, CPR and CPI standards and under the frequent supervision of the Clinical Coordinator.
Provide and document psychotherapy services to patient as scheduled.
Conduct individual, group or family therapy sessions as appropriate for treatment plan of the patient.
Provide initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed, revising as necessary.
Maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards and revising as indicated by facility or professional standard.
Maintain a caseload as assigned.
Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient, as appropriate to their treatment plan.
May provide these services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
May perform case management, discharge or after care planning as needed.
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned and specifics according to current official job description.
Master's degree in Social Work or Human Services field from an accredited college or university. One to two years’ experience working with comparable patient population.
Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider.
First Aid, CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
