This position will participate in the Property Accounting process of placing fixed assets into service and processing asset retirements. This includes analyzing work order charges, comparing activity in the PowerPlan fixed asset system with legacy work order systems, processing work order charges into assets, identifying assets that should be retired, and scanning and filing asset creation documents.
Bachelor’s in accounting or finance and 2 years business experience OR an Associate's Degree or some college courses and the requisite experience.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience in fixed asset accounting
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to think holistically and grasp new concepts quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
SAP and regulatory utility industry experience a plus, but not required
