Senior Human Resources Specialist

Unit DescriptionDo you have a passion for helping your fellow Sodexo employees? Sodexo and the HR Support Services Team is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist, to support multiple segments across Sodexo. If you are self-motivated and results-driven with Human Resources experience, this is the job for you!This is a Remote Role and candidates can reside in any state!ResponsibilitiesProcesses HR transactions such as (not all inclusive) Reports to Manager changes, Work location changes, pay rate changes, bonus payments, payroll registers,promotions, transfers, acquisitions,report generationand analysis, etc. Knowledge and ability to utilize systems/software to provide effective and accurate informationsuch as (list is not all inclusive) EDW, EV4, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Email Merge, SharePoint, Teams, Smartsheet, BI Query, etc. Monitors centralized team mailbox; responding to phone calls and emails from clients and customers across all Sodexo segments Identifies data errors and root cause of benefits, payroll, PTO errors; coordinates with HR departments to support timely and final resolution and response to impacted employee(s) Provides HR support on special projects, as needed Work as both a team player and has the ability to work independently Communicates proper policy and procedures to all employees in timely and efficient manner Researches required information using available resources, while demonstrating the initiative to seek solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner Manages and resolves customer complaints with respect and empathy Identifies and escalates priority issues Maintains a consistent level of quality and accuracy Understands and maintains confidentiality of employee information Stays current with Sodexo HR changes in policy and procedure In-depth knowledge of HR employee data systems, reports, processes, and forms Ability to create and customize system queries to address new/unique employee, manager and segment HR needs Ability to manage and organize large amounts of data to support segment HR analytic requests Creates and understands human resources reports and business metrics Ability to shift between employee support activities and independent research and analytics easily Communicate professionally and effectively with peers, customers and senior leaders. Preferred QualificationsPrevious HR experience Very proficient knowledge of Excel Knowledge of Smartsheet a plus Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Incredible attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Not the job for you? Ability to diagnose root HR issues and determine when and how to escalate within HR functional areas. Manages multiple lines of communication from the field (email, web, phone, and voicemail). Responsibilities include knowledge of phone and case management system, knowledge base portal, benefits toolkit, company policy manual and working knowledge of Ingenium, ADP, eTIME, EDW, payroll, PTO, and ER related areas.Responsible for supporting rotational research and analytics team with detailed knowledge of HR data and systems. Ability to create employee data reports to support segment HR needs and resolve complex cases. Supports quality monitoring and peer mentoring for call intake, resolution and escalation. Assignment to one or more service center and corporate HR teams, as needed.Demonstrated proficiency with customer service function; consistently meets or exceeds all performance standards, call metrics and case management targets.
