Sales Implementation Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
Lead the day-to-day implementation function to include training and troubleshooting. Identify and recommend new techniques to maximize speed and accuracy to strengthen implementation process. Coordinate and track the implementation of all new prime vendor distribution accounts.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee implementations for prime vendor accounts. Measure input and output. Address and resolve escalated issues that may delay project completion.
  • Update project management software for every prime vendor implementation. Communicate progress to implementation team and escalate when necessary.
  • Submit data for analysis reports and tracking tools for the department to include productivity levels, completion times and accuracy rates.
  • Coordinate with Vendor Relations and the Implementation team to ensure accurate pricing is obtained. Follow up with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Management responsibilities include:
    • Overseeing the daily activities and outcomes of a group of employees.
    • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training/development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Education
  • Bachelor%26rsquo;s degree.
Relevant Work Experience
  • At least 5 years of vendor or inventory experience.
Additional
  • Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training, and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.
  • Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
  • Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/project is accomplished within tight timeframes. Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page, and/or creating a pivot table.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant Work Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.
