Payroll Analyst
The Payroll Analyst will perform payroll accounting and administrative duties to support the Payroll and Human Resources departments. They will ensure payment is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations for both salaried and hourly employees. They will also comply with all state and federal regulations as it pertains to timekeeping, tax payments, and any garnishments or levies. They will assist the Finance Director and other team members in all levels of Finance/HR-related tasks to provide the best customer service to the employees and management.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Prepare bonus and variable compensation analysis.
- Process payroll in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.
- Run monthly payroll reports.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between the accounting and payroll systems.
- Oversee the annual payroll audit.
- Communicate with employees outside of the department to answer questions and gather information.
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by Finance and HR managers.
- Cross-train with the HR Administration Manager to fulfill duties when needed.
- Assist with other Finance duties such as: accounts payable processing, check deposits, credit card processing and scanning.
- Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, precision, discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous payroll experience required.
- Experience with multi-jurisdictions, variable compensation and employee benefits a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Financial services industry background is desired.
