Including assisting patient tray line assembly, meal tray distribution, menu and snack selection, distribution, and correction Cashier function (secondary) Responsible for checking customers through the cash register and maintaining accurate money control. Ensures that customers are greeted and made to feel welcome in the Cafeteria # Minimum Requirements Education########### HS Diploma Experience######## N/A License/Registration/Certifications####### N/A # Preferred Requirements Preferred Education###### N/A Preferred Experience### 3 years# experience Preferred License/Registration/Certifications### N/A # Physical Requirements Floor to Waist Lift (Occasionally) miscellaneous lifting of food product and trays Waist to Overhead lift (Occasionally) shelf stocking/unstocking Grip (Frequently) Miscellaneous stocking, food prep, push, pull, etc. Elevated Work (Occasionally) Stock shelves/pantry Forward Bending in Sitting (Occasionally) menu prep/computer work Forward Bending in Stand (Frequently) with food stacking, stocking, prep/transfer, etc. Anterior Reach (Frequently) to prepare food trays/stock fridge/cabinets Kneel/Crouch (Occasionally) miscellaneous stocking/stacking/food retrieval/order filling/tray filling, etc. Repetitive Squat (Occasionally) putting up stock, filing. Emptying tray cart, etc. Walking (Continuously) most all job activities Stair Climbing (Occasionally) up/down stool, floor change, etc. # Core Job Responsibilities Must be able to provide and understand the specific communication needs of patients, families, and visitors as they pertain to diet, nutrition for, and improving patient outcomes. stock nourishments for units and bulk storage area assuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are maintained Responsible for dishing area tasks according to standard practices and procedures, cleaning, delivering, setting up and other duties related to food services. Participates in the performance improvement and quality assurance process of the department and hospital. Responsible for checking customers through the cash register and maintaining accurate money control #Ensures that the dining and counter areas are kept clean and neat at all times. Responsible for accurate opening and closing procedures of the cafeteria. Perform kitchen functions as needed per Food Service manager request
