Job Description

Electronic Combat Solutions Hardware Engineering Group is looking for an entry level Digital Design Engineer to support FPGA designs through all phases of development.
The ideal candidate is expected to perform activities such as requirements generation, design architecture, RTL coding, synthesis, test bench development, lab testing, and product support.

The position requires a U.S. person with the ability to obtain a minimum of Secret Clearance.

Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education
  • Current Security Clearance (Secret), or eligible to obtain one
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree (or, plan to obtain bachelor's degree in the near future)
  • Interest and experience in FPGA Design / Development, including
    • Being able to follow micro architecture and detailed design document
    • Solid understanding of digital logic design
    • VHDL (preferred) or Verilog HDL coding
    • Familiarity with FPGA vendor tool - Xilinx ISE/Vivado, Altera Quartus II, etc.
    • Experience in generating test bench
    • Familiarity with some revision control tool (git, cvs, clearcase, etc.)
    • Familiarity with static timing analysis concept
    • Working knowledge of lab test equipment (oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter and a good team player
  • Logical problem solver
  • Experience and willingness for lab testing
