Business Procedures Consultant II (Hybrid role effective 1/1/2023)

**Job Location: Aurora, IL; Tampa, FL; Charlotte, NC; other MetLife locations**

**Role Value Proposition** : The primary responsibility of this position is to support processes related to the new identity theft voluntary product within the Vendor Management team in National Accounts Operations. Working with the vendor that administers the new identity theft voluntary product, the incumbent will be the primary point of contact for day-to-day escalations, developing processes and partnering closely with the product owners. The incumbent will serve as the liaison for our Service and Implementation partners and work closely with the vendor.

**Key Responsibilities** :

+ Partner with the product team working with the vendor to support the new identity theft product.

+ Serve as the primary contact for the business to manage escalations, acting as the internal contact for receiving and resolving issues related to the vendor.

+ Partner with product leads on business rules and establish processes for administering the new identity theft product.

+ Perform root cause analysis to identify potential recurring issues and facilitate the development of process improvements.

+ Actively participate in meetings with the product teams and/or key internal partners.

+ Oversee or lead projects and/or phases of projects to implement new and/or modified processes, procedures, and/or enhancements.

+ Provide information/tools/resources and/or training to end users to help resolve inquiries related to processes, procedures, and/or initiatives.

**Required Experience:**

+ 5+ years of related work experience

+ High School Diploma

+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

**Preferred Experience:**

+ Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

+ Must be able to manage multiple assignments, be organized and efficient while working under minimal supervision

+ Vendor Management experience

+ Exhibits flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
