COMMUNITY COUNSELOR (Direct Care Staff) McDowell Center for Children is seeking enthusiastic individuals to work with a diverse group of boys ages 12 - 18 years of age.  Applicants must possess the ability to interact with teenagers in a way that promotes behavioral, emotional and psycho-social changes.    The qualified applicant should have good inter-personal skills and be flexible and willing to work two of the three shifts as needed.  7 am - 3pm; 3 pm - 11 pm; 11pm - 7 am. Job Requirements Education:  High School Diploma and/or GED,  Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience:  One year prior experience in an inpatient psychiatric mental health facility preferred
