As a Next Gen Associate, you will be a part of our Corporate Accounting and Finance team that completes various duties and responsibilities to address challenges and opportunities within our industry. You will be responsible to protect assets by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, and regulations. The position requires the ability to execute specific steps, document and archive work and answer questions regarding the projects.
Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
Extensive interactions with company personnel at all levels of the organization.
Assists in operational accounting processes and controls.
Assists in financial reporting compliance.
Performs data analysis related to asset valuation and financial reporting requirements.
Performs due diligence services and prepare financial models relating to various transactions.
Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
Presents audit findings to the control owner.
Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires.
Complies with federal, state, and local security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work on special Projects.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters in Accounting, Finance, Economics or General Business required.
Strong academic track record is preferred.
Relevant work experience preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills.
Must have strong verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills.
Must demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments required.
Ability to work independently is preferred.
Must be willing to travel and open to relocating.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to self-manage work with minimal supervision.
Arrive early and work late if necessary.
Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
