A well-respected company is seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Senior Accountant. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. An average day to day responsibilities of a Senior Accountant will include: - Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors - Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Other projects as necessary - Be a part of various department-wide initiatives - Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners - Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) - Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Ready monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Job Requirements

- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines - SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus - Proficiency in financial statement preparation - Expertise in Microsoft Excel - Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings - Ability to work well with functional department managers - Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities - Self-starter and strong ethical standards - Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills - Be detailed, flexible, and organized - Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate - Experience with ERP systems - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired If interested, please submit your resume to Paul.Hawk@rhmr.com.
