The company is a leading fundraising consulting firm for over 30 years, provides quality advice for every step of the development process to educational institutions, academic medical centers, healthcare systems, and other large environmental and social non-profit organizations nationwide.

Job Summary:
As an HR Benefits Coordinator, you will use your expertise in professional services and HR principles to support the day to day tasks of the human resources and operations departments. This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Operations and works collaboratively with clients, consultants, and all support staff.

•Completing administrative duties for the operations and human resources departments
•Maintaining employee records
•Supporting new hire orientation
•Assist with providing benefits information to both new and existing employees
•Explain company policies and benefits
•Review job duties and maintain files regarding all new hires for the company
•Support employee training on new software systems.
•Support HR Functions
•Maintaining employee relations
•Keeping employee records to ensure the company is compliant with existing employment laws and regulations

Skills:
•Strong communication and organizational skills in addition to being detail-oriented
•Ability to work independently as well as with others in a team environment
•Besides these general skills, many employers might look for potential HR Coordinator candidates to possess the following skills
•Applying strong written communication skills for correspondence, reports and other company materials
•Maintaining knowledge of current employment laws
•Organizing orientations, benefits, and employee handbook
•Advanced skills: While most employers did not require the following skills, multiple job listings included them as preferred. Add these to your HR Coordinator toolbox and broaden your career options.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•Consistency in meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment
•Ability to work with a diverse group of people on a national level
