If you are a Digital Applications professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Sidney, OH location, you will be a member of a B2B/B2C Digital Commerce Operations team responsible for supporting eCommerce capabilities across global stores. As part of a dynamic team with growing demand, this role will be responsible for requirement gathering, testing related enhancements, as well as troubleshooting and remediating issues within the application and interfaces. This includes support for end-to-end application testing, understanding of integrations, and data load processes. This role will collaborate with internal IT, both on and offshore, as well as the business users in supporting and delivering solutions.
AS DIGITAL APPLICATIONS ANALYST, YOU WILL: 
  • Responsibilities of Digital Applications Analyst
  • Monitoring eCommerce transaction flows and triage production issues on priority
  • Primary point of contact for technical & performance issues
  • Perform project management tasks
  • Lead requirement gathering process by hosting meetings with stakeholders including Business Users, Enterprise IT, and global cross functional teams
  • Collaborate via Agile with development staff, support staff, and management for adherence to all requirements in solving issues, as well as supportability, maintainability, and user understandability
  • Conduct full end-to-end testing in multiple commerce sites
  • Create and maintain support documentation
  • Assist with Priority 1 production support as needed
  • Respond immediately to reports of system error, outage, or instability
  • Support efforts to update and upgrade systems as necessary to maintain integrity
  • Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
  • Participate in after-hours 24/7 support as needed
  • Assist with the effort estimation for new projects
WHO YOU ARE:
You will build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. You will develop and deliver a multi-mode that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of a different audience. You will operate effectively even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear. Lastly, you will anticipate and adopt innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science plus 5 years of experience, or similar; experience in lieu of education may be considered with 7 years or more of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of SQL

  • Experience in the Oracle Order Management, Warehouse Management System, or Advanced Pricing Modules

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, strong relationship builder in cross-functional teams.

  • Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

  • Experience designing a solution and delivering in an agile environment.

  • Experience in Master Data Management.

  • B2B and B2C Experience 

Schedule
We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.
