Sales Assistant
Classification: Sales Assistant
Compensation: $13.78 to $15.95 hourly
OfficeTeam currently has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Sales Assistant! Are you a self-starter? Do you want the chance to grow your career? Then apply today! The Sales Assistant is a long-term temporary position based in River Forest, Illinois.
Major responsibilities
- Working on and at trade shows and conventions
- Making travel and meeting arrangements
- Maintaining kindness and professionalism while interacting with customers to provide superior customer service
- Performing other Sales Assistant tasks as necessary
- Providing support for administrative, technical and clerical functions of sales teams
- Preparing communications and proofreading documents
- Producing sales reports and presentations
- Coordinating orders to ensure process completion
- Coordinating courses and training internal employees
- Supporting the sales department by promoting company products and services
- Increase Sales experience desired
- BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field suggested
- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required
- Employer suggests 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience
- Exceptional social skills, previous experience coordinating projects, and able to work well with all internal personnel, outside clients and vendors
- Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
