Job Summary
The Manager, Cardiac Cath Labs, will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the Cardiac Cath Labs (including JB2 and Cath Lab Holding area). This position has 24 hour accountability for managing resources (human, material and financial), to ensure quality, cost-effective delivery of patient services for specific patient populations, in a defined area across the continuum. This is accomplished by direct action, delegation, coaching and support of unit-based shared governance councils. This position will work collaboratively with the Medical Director Cardiac Cath Labs to oversee and manage all aspects of the Cardiac Cath Labs and their role and importance to Hartford Hospital and the Heart and Vascular Institute. This position is responsible for providing overall operational leadership for these areas, with an intense focus on patient quality and safety outcomes, patient experience and staff engagement. The role will also be responsible for maintaining radiation safety requirements and an active participation with ongoing research. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations, HVI . #HHC

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree Nursing, Masters preferred.
Experience
5 years relevant experience working Cath Labs and/or cardiac Procedural Areas
Supervisor/management experience
Licensure, Certification, Registration
BLS certification, ACLS preferred.
CT State license
