Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier Electrical and Mechanical industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Sr. Mechanical Engineer Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Sr. Mechanical Engineer in Charlotte, NC is between $100,000 and $120,000 depending on experience and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Sr. Mechanical Engineer Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepares the mechanical designs, construction and installation drawings, and technical support on design/build projects
  • Designs commercial, healthcare and institutional projects
  • Works with internal and external personnel to meet deadlines, and stay within prescribed budget to successfully complete a project
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Prioritizes, organization and time management
  • Ensures that company procedures and processes are followed
  • Interacts effectively to facilitate job progress

Sr. Mechanical Engineer Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • PE License preferred, can have an EIT but need to gain PE in the near future
  • 7-10 + years of experience in commercial, healthcare and institutional project design
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit
