Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Each CSR will be assigned to a work group of ministries, in this case they're assigned to a Major Hospital Network in the Indianapolis area. There will be two different monitors that will be worked on during their shift, one with a hospital proprietary system and the other the call que. Once a call comes in, the que will state where the call is coming in from, ex: Hospitals. The CSR will answer the phone based on the hospital system, ex: "Thank you for calling Hospital Billing.. how may I help you?" The average call time is 6-8 minutes in length. Patients will be calling for multiple needs; disputed charges, payment questions, requests for itemized billing statements, directions to facilities, etc. After each call, the CSR will have 60 seconds to enter data, send emails, etc and then will be put back into available status in the que. The CSR will take 50-80 calls per shift. Monday and Tuesday are the highest call volume days. There will be shift leads and supervisors that will be within the call center to assist with calls and monitor questions.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
