University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Medicine General Internal Medicine/Med-Peds Physician
The Division of General Internal Medicine has two immediate openings for full-time Clinical Instructors, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Medicine (NTT) at a busy academic General Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Practice. It is currently comprised of thirteen faculty members, six of which practice Internal Medicine & Pediatrics. Our opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in both med/peds or only general IM. Details:
- Job Duties: 100% clinical, unless interested in teaching opportunities
- Home call - 5 weeks per year
- Ability to travel while on call
- Average call volume during call weeks: 2/week
- Outpatient clinic volume: 8-10 per .5 clinic day
- The clinical nature of this position creates the opportunity for higher clinical volumes for the inclined candidate.
- Expected schedule:
- 8 clinic sessions per week
- 2 administrative sessions per week
- Compensation structure: Base + Incentive (paid quarterly)
The practice is an established NCQA Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home, where the practice environment fosters high-quality team-based care and high job satisfaction for faculty and staff. We offer two clinic locations, both of which are located in offsite freestanding facilities, giving them a private practice flare. - Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine or BE/BC in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
