Maintenance Mechanic - Davis Wire Corporation - Kent, WA

Starting hourly wage is $19.00/hr up to $22.00/hr depending on experience. Overall responsibilities are assembling, fabricating, repairing, overhauling, adjusting, aligning, installing and removing new and used machinery and industrial equipment. In conjunction with electricians, machinists, operators, and supervision investigating and diagnosing equipment failure and develop/implement corrective action. Duties include rebuilding gearboxes including identifying and repairing failures related to cams, sprockets, pulleys, bearings, bushings and various other mechanical components. Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems including, pumps, motors, cooling towers, heat exchanges, vales and other components. Starting and running machinery to test their performance and repairs/replacing defective parts. Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements: 

Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic

Previous experience in mill environments, construction, or automotive environments is a plus.

Can lift at least 75lbs.

Must pass drug screen

Must pass background check 

Minimum age: 18 years old

Shift length: 12 hours

3 days on and 4 days on alternating each week.


  • Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings required
  • Monday-Thursday with overtime on Fridays/Saturdays
  • 5 days/week, must be available any day
  • Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday
