What will you be doing?

• Welds metal objects together by means of an oxyacetylene torch or arc welder apparatus.
• Sets up pre-fitted parts for welding.
• Uses hand tools, clamp, jigs, and fixtures.
• In addition to performing hand welding or brazing operations, working from specifications, drawings, prints or welding symbols, a welder may also lay out guidelines or marks on metal parts and may cut metal with a cutting torch.
• Works on a variety of metals and alloys.
• May require 4 position welding.
• May involve work on high pressure, code, certification, or other work involving critical safety and load requirements.
