VP of F&B Business Development

The VP of F&B Business Development is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential food and beverage development opportunities in both domestic and international strategic markets. They will support the long-term portfolio strategy by researching new product trends and potential operating partnerships. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Company Resorts international policies, practices, and procedures.


  • Identify and evaluate potential food and beverage development opportunities in both domestic and international strategic markets; Travels to visit/view sites and determine potential suitability of a concept and understand key issues such as access and operational effectiveness.
  • Enhance company portfolio by identifying, securing, and managing third party partner relationships for development.
  • Leads the research and recommendations for evaluation, development and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure the Company’s competitive advantage.
  • Creates progressive and profitable food, beverage and entertainment concepts appropriate to the different brands and their upper/upscale market place/location.
  • Assess size of markets using standard “trip/propensity/spend” methodologies and perform market share analysis.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.


  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, other related, field , or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
  • At least ten (10) years of hotel business development or related experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Significant experience with an international luxury hotel company, including project/hotel development
  • In depth knowledge of feasibility models; and process for RFQ, RFP, etc.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays


  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • Previous experience in developing luxury hotels and/or independent restaurants in international locations
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
