This full-time position is responsible for overall technical hardware and software support for audiovisual equipment and systems used for instructional and administration needs and includes implementing and programming user-specific control systems for classroom support.
This position is responsible for the infrastructure preparation, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment hardware which includes software coding of specific configurations as deployed. In addition, this position coordinates and performs preventive maintenance on related AV systems including PC computers, electronic projection equipment, sound reinforcement equipment, and attached systems control equipment. This position leads an installation or support team, reviews work, provides training and problem solving and also may serve as the backup to the Director. Position may need to travel to multiple campuses. A valid Driver's License is required.
Pre-placement physical is required for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Associates Degree with emphasis on electronics technology. Four years industrial and field experience within the electronics and AV industry or related service industry. Proven mechanical, electrical, and construction skills, including use of power and hand tools. Knowledge of test equipment and specialized assembly tools. Knowledge of AV broadcasting specifications, distribution techniques, telecommunication business practices and infrastructure. Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Preferred Certifications: A+/N+ Certification, Extron A/V Associate, Extron A/V Control Associate, Smart Certification, Certified A/V Installation Technician
