Sr Program Manager

Labcorp Durham, NC (Onsite) Full-Time

Labcorp is recruiting a Sr Program Manager for a dynamic team in either Burlington or RTP, NC. This position could also potentially be Remote based.


Overview/Summary:  

Healthcare delivery is experiencing unprecedented changes led by mass consolidation, accelerated use of data and technology, as well as a shift into value-based care.  As the market evolves, LabCorp is establishing its position as the lab partner of choice for emerging health systems across care settings including inpatient and outpatient organizations. Labcorp’s Health System team is responsible for some of the company’s largest customers and is deeply engaged in use of lab data, population health informatics, and value-based care models.  With an integrated national network and clinical data on more than 50% of covered patients, Labcorp is uniquely positioned to develop analytics capabilities that support organizations with quality requirements and financial performance.  Labcorp has developed a suite of population informatics tools including data feeds, Insight Analytics, as well as customized solutions for Lab Stewardship and Health Equity.  These population analytics tools play an important role in Labcorp’s service offering, ensuring differentiation and long-term customer retention.


Responsibility Summary:

  • Works with Labcorp’s Population Health Informatics team to develop new population analytics tools that leverage LabCorp data to improve patient care.  Act as a player/coach that is involved in hands on development as well as project management.    

  • Responsible for operational decisions for the Population Health Informatics Team. Manages relationships with Information Technology   

  • Works with Medical Director, Health Systems to define product requirements. Documents business cases and user requirements for new and existing systems.

  • Acts as technical and operational liaison to Value Based Care team.

  • Trains new users (LabCorp customers, internal stakeholders).  Conduct client demos. Coordinate rollout of new applications with Sales.

  • Tracks project status, coordinates meetings, and insures follow up on action items.


Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Five years minimum experience in multiple phases of application development (database, programming, data visualization, user interface development).

  • Experience in data visualization and outward facing application design (Tableau preferred)

  • Bachelors degree preferred but not necessary.

  • Demonstrated project management experience.

  • Database experience (SQL)

  • Population health and diagnostics experience a plus

  • Knowledge of healthcare environment.

  • Knowledge of basic statistics.

  • Practical Experience driving projects to completion in a multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Highly collaborative, team player with excellent communication skill.

  • Innovative thinker.


Pay Range: $101,206 to $170,900.

Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), ESPP, Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible time off (FTO), Company bonus where applicable.
