
REQUIREMENTS:
Background in health care, human services, or call center customer service.
Iowa Medicaid programs preferred.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of all information.
Ability to comply with current and updated policies and procedures.
Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a diverse population.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
'Provide services to callers and assist with application, changes and policy related questions.
'Document all calls in clear and concise logs
'Performs updates to provider data
'Develop and maintain expert knowledge of program policies and rules to present accurate information to providers
' Meet all standards established for this position as outlined in the performance criteria
'Performs other duties as may be assigned by management
