**ServiceNow Administrator/Developer**

**100% Remote**

**Duration: 8+ months**

**Rate: DOE - W2 only, no C2C**

The ServiceNow Administrator performs configuration, development, support and maintenance of the ServiceNow application. Works with external and internal stakeholders to understand, propose and deliver digital transformation solutions with emphasis on request fulfillment, automated workflows through Service Catalogs and key ITIL processes like Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB and other modules. The position is responsible for providing day-to-day system administration services of the ServiceNow platform.They will implement and maintain best practices enabling IS&T to operate efficiently, make informed decisions, and deliver innovation to support the growth expectations of the organization.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

? Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications

? Create and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, policies and processes

? Facilitate ServiceNow training as required

? Works with IS&T teams to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility; understand how ServiceNow can enable IS&T and the business to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits

? Work closely with the business analysts and development team to assist in the appropriate extension, integration or development of the platform

? Coordinate application and platform upgrades

? Develop systems integrations and process automation

? Analyze, create proof of concepts, design, develop and customize business applications

? Configure and maintain SLA, catalog items and their associated workflows

? General support, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and associated applications

? Perform day-to-day support of ServiceNow

? Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions for continual service improvement

? Champion efforts to maintain ServiceNow industry best practices

? Monitor system stability and performance metrics to prevent service degradation or interruption

? Participate in day-to-day interactions with Service Operations management

? Develop, document, and provide feedback on processes, workflows and standard operating procedures for Support Services and other departments

? Participates in and contributes to continual service improvement

? Awareness of and compliance with safety practices

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Education / Experience / Background Education:

? Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant experience

Experience:

? Experience in IT service management (ITSM)

? 5-7 years experience with ServiceNow administration

? Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues

? Experience with enterprise ServiceNow installs

? Experience with JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML and XML

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

? Exceptional customer service skills

? Strong interpersonal and communication skills

? Able to adapt to a dynamic environment with an ever-changing workload

? Effective writing skills with the ability to document application configurations, system design and architecture

? Strong analytical skills with the ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflow

? Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB, service catalog and knowledge management applications

? Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems

? Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria

? Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to ServiceNow, monitoring tools and ITIL processes

? Curious and excited by new ideas

? Energized by a fast-paced environment

? Comfortable working as part of a connected team, but self-motivated

? Exceptionally detail-oriented and process driven

Required Certification / Licenses / Training

? ServiceNow System Admin certification (admin or higher)

? ITIL Foundations v3 (minimum)
