Dynamic local company is currently seeking a Director of Financial Planning Analysis, reporting to our VP of FP A. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in budgeting, forecasting, and complex financial analysis ? preferably in a SaaS/Software organization - that will support strategic decision making by the management team. This position will also support and maintain the company?s long-term financial model and assist in critical reporting for the Board of Directors as well Senior Management. In addition, we are looking for a candidate with deep understanding of financial systems and the ability to create financial reporting dashboards to help drive decision making at the Executive level. Essential Functions: ? Ability to own and manage the interactions between finance and internal client organizations by compiling and analyzing financial results, interpreting financial reports and communicating results, as well as making recommendations or required changes ? Create and maintain the financial planning process (budgeting, forecasting and modeling) for all revenue and expense drivers as well as company key performance indicators ? Perform in-depth financial and operational analysis to determine business reasons and key business drivers impacting results ? Develop KPIs to drive business performance and track growth initiatives. Conduct financial reporting and analysis to assess progress against KPIs. ? Develop and prepare key operational and financial metrics dashboard for senior management ? Provide decision making support and improve the financial/accounting expertise throughout the organization ? Define and oversee improvements to internal processes, systems, and procedures ? Create financial models to analyze complex business issues and business development opportunities ? Conduct ad-hoc planning and analysis to support the department and senior management ? Be a trusted advisor to the CFO - proactively collaborate, influence, and align the Company?s planning processes to achieve company goals Qualifications and Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field ? 10+ years of professional experience in compiling financial data for reporting and analysis ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to strong oral written and oral communication skills ? You?re ?hands-on? enough to drive financial planning analysis yourself, but ?strategic? enough to have Board-level conversations ? Exceptional data analysis and reporting capabilities ? Advanced skillset with Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, QlikView, Tableau) a plus ? Knowledge of Workday Financials a plus ?
