The Director, Talent & Organization Development plays a key role in building and sustaining a high performing organization that delivers our purpose to our consumers, customers and employees. This role has responsibility for the design and implementation of a full-range of talent and organization development solutions. The Director, Talent & Organization Development will be involved in such solutions as talent management and career development to leadership development and training design to team development and engagement. He/she will work closely with the DVP, Talent & Organization Development, as well as with cross-functional teams and HR colleagues across the organization to implement these solutions and drive real benefit to Pharmavite.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Contribute to development of Talent & Organization Development strategy, including leadership curriculum
  • Conduct front end analysis and needs assessment to help diagnose problems and recommend the most appropriate solution to increase performance
  • Design and develop Talent & Organization Development solutions
  • Ensure high impact delivery of solutions
  • Act as expert in Talent & Organization Development topics; partner effectively with business and across HR to bring expertise to bear in the context of business opportunities


    The ideal candidate is recognized as a strategic Talent & Organization Development leader who is known for making his/her vision a reality. You have a broad range of talent management, learning development and organization effectiveness experiences and expertise. You enjoy building relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve Talent & Organization Development objectives. The ideal candidate also has worked in - and has passion for - the health and wellness industry.

    You'll be most successful in this role if you have:

  • Strong technical skills including curriculum and instructional design, coaching and team development.
  • A track record for success advancing multiple initiatives in a fast paced and changing business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and deliver on a strategic Talent & Organization Development plan.
  • Prior experience leading a Talent & Organization Development team who were known for delivering on business objectives.
  • A reputation as a trusted advisor to leaders and partner to critical stakeholders.

    In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organization Behavior, or Human Resources. Master's degree is preferred.
  • 15+ years of talent management/learning and development/leadership development/organization effectiveness experience with at least 10 years in corporate roles.
  • Experience with facilitating training and workshops.
  • Certifications in leading talent assessment tools (e.g. Korn Ferry, Hogan Systems).
  • Experience in both large and small company settings.
