Payroll Administrator


CFS is engaged with a well known organization in the Wisconsin Dells market looking to add a Payroll Administrator due to an upcoming retirement. Our client offers a great culture with a great compensation and benefits package. This position will allow the right person the ability to take charge of the full life cycle of the payroll process.   • Processes biweekly payroll by conducting audits, verifying data and ensuring accuracy.
  • Transfers time/dollars from ADP to HR/Payroll. Performs audit to ensure accuracy.
  • Uploads spreadsheets and validates all payroll deductions and separate checks have been included for the pay date.
  • Validates payroll is accurate by running/reviewing Gross to Net Report, General Ledger reports and Payroll Totals by Pay group report.
  • Finalizes payroll, prints checks, prints invoices and creates Direct Deposit (ACH) file. Uploads files to ADP and verify dollar amounts.
  • Submits quarterly tax test and production files to ADP. Runs reports and validates data
    before submitting to ensure accuracy.
  • Conducts payroll audits of departments entering in hours to ensure uniformity of pay practices every quarter.
  • Creates step-by-step instructions for training new users and managers in ADP and provides updates and reminders on tips for using the system.


  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Associates Degree is preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ADP, or other large Payroll Software
