POSITION SUMMARY
Performs Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing with a high degree of accuracy in the virtual branch setting. Maintains accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipts, and payment services in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures. Must have the ability to engage members and potential members effectively on video and camera. Maintains acceptable cash voucher, general ledger, and negotiable balancing standards for themselves and for the entire virtual branch.
Maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all related products, services, policies, procedures, rules and regulations for the teller/ITM area. Represents the Credit Union in a professional manner, particularly effective on video. Actively cross-sales Credit Union products and services in remote/virtual environment. Actively cross-selling is a job requirement. Possesses flexibility to work in an area with extended hours that are subject to change based on member and organizational needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Promotes Credit Union products and services based on member needs obtained from member virtual interviews and/or review of member accounts. Maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all Credit Union products and services that are handled or promoted by the Credit Union. Actively cross-sell Credit Union products and services in a remote/virtual environment.
* Serves as the Credit Unions virtual branch primary contact with its members, both in providing services and in routing inquiries to appropriate personnel. Greets and welcomes members on video to the Credit Union in a courteous, professional and timely manner, providing prompt, accurate, and efficient member transactions.
* Receives deposits and payments for all types of accounts, verify cash and negotiability of checks and issues receipts, giving credit for funds according to established policies. Inputs data ensuring completeness and accuracy.
* Cashes checks and accepts withdrawal requests in accordance with established policies, referring questionable transactions to supervisor for approval. Inputs data ensuring completeness and accuracy.
* Follows all security policies and procedures. Maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations. Maintains an awareness of branch surroundings and reports discrepancies or suspicious activity to supervisor.
* Maintains CU voucher and general ledger balancing expectations related to all ITM transactions.
* Prompt and effective communication skills with ITM Manager/Assistants and branch locations.
* Meets Credit Union standards for servicing Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) video contacts, incoming and outgoing calls, chats, emails and other means of communications.
* Maintains personal appearance, reports to their position with an appropriate professional appearance, maintaining good hygiene, and ensuring their work attire meets Credit Union dress code. Logo wear is required.
* Remains readily available for incoming communications; keeping transactional times minimal while maintaining efficiency.
* Performs other duties as required or assigned. This list of essential duties is not exhaustive; it may be supplemented as necessary from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to effectively communicate Credit Union products and services in order to cross-sell.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a willingness to support others within the Credit Union.
* Ability to independently balance virtual cash drawer and general ledgers while complying with established teller accuracy standards.
* Must maintain professional demeanor in all situations.
* Must maintain professional appearance to include representing the Credit Union in the highest standards.
* Ability to operate a personal computer and Interactive Teller system with a high level of proficiency in such software applications as word processing, spreadsheets, internet and email, wireless/wired headsets, and video conference software. Ability to operate a fax, calculator and copier.

$13.80 - $17.25 / hour
