Quality Assurance Manager, SDET

Corcentric Atlanta, GA (On Site) Full-Time

As a Quality Assurance Manager, SDET at Corcentric, you will join a driven, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will be the quality owner for the Order-to-Cash suite of products, and work on complex business and technical opportunities. You will play a leadership role by providing subject matter expertise and implementing quality engineering solutions. You will work with different existing technology stacks (.NET, SQL Server, Web Forms, Angular.JS, REST, SOAP, Postgres, Microservices, AWS), and will primarily be managing quality engineering deliverables and automation around these technology stacks with the use of other popular QA / testing products needed to be successful.

This key position reports to the VP, Quality Assurance within the Software Development organization. Were a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!

As a Quality Assurance Manager, SDET youll be responsible for:

  • Establishing and evolving formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.

  • Overseeing all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, implementing processes for estimates, and providing standardized formats for test cases and defects.

  • Working closely with software development teams and product management to ensure quality of software and applications.

  • Acting as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources.

  • Participating in release planning activities, support team members with estimates and risk analysis for the new features.

  • Leading and mentoring QA team members, as well as manage outside contract / remote testers.

  • Operating in a fast-paced environment working while managing change and ambiguity of evolving requests.


Youll need to have:

  • A bachelors and/or masters degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Extensive professional experience working in a product development environment.

  • Excellent leadership and communications skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Experience leading and managing SDET/QA teams, including working with remote teams.

  • Experience having transformed QA/QE organizations to SDET/DevOps.

  • Strong understanding and experience with different type of software testing approaches: front-end, back-end, white box, functional / non-functional, performance / stress, smoke, static, etc.

  • Hands-on experience writing unit tests and automation using TDD, BDD, or similar.

  • Working knowledge of many or all of these: Selenium, JMeter, Graylog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Jira, Git, and other DevOps tools

  • Proficiency in at least one development language and familiar with multiple.

  • Experience working with complex development stacks and able to test at all levels.

  • Experience with design and development of automation frameworks and being able to represent quality function during feature design.

  • Experience building, maintaining, enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with cloud computing and technologies (AWS Stack highly desirable).

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced understanding of software development lifecycle, processes, and methodologies.
