Working with the
Environmental Contamination, Assessment and Remediation group this position
offers good variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Combination of office work
and fieldwork supporting the investigation and remediation of contaminated
sites located primarily in Southern California.
What you will bring to the
- Delivery and accountability for technical
assignments and design of a variety of environmental projects
- Office work includes subcontractor
coordination; report and proposal writing; technical data evaluation and
additional client support such as cost estimation and permit application.
- Fieldwork includes drilling soil borings and
monitoring wells, oversight of remedial actions, and subcontract oversight
- Prepare routine correspondence, data reports,
standardized documents and work plans for internal and client review
- Support EHS compliance work
- B.S. degree in Geology,
Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering
- 3-5 years of related
experience supporting assessment and remediation projects
- Ability to perform
field work and travel overnight
- Excellent written and
verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
- Detail oriented with
the ability to balance a diverse and changing workload
- Organized and able to
- Ability to be proactive
and take ownership of the tasks involved
- Must be self-motivated,
organized, hardworking, and have problem resolution skills
- The ability to attain,
or already has OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER certification
