Description

General Information:

The ASM supports the sales organization and customers throughout the sales process within a specific-assigned area. This function reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Increase new and existing sales and business by supporting the Sales organization.
  2. Promote Hitachi Energy products internally and externally by providing webinars, seminars, presentations, Lunch & Learns, etc.
  3. Influence customer specifications.
  4. Provide relevant knowledge on products to customers and the sales organization.
  5. Create sales plans jointly with FES, REPS, and the Account organization.
  6. Bid operations.
  7. Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the local Sales organization.
  8. Ensure efficient marketing actions and communication to the local Sales organization and customers.
  9. Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
  10. Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support collection and project management activities when needed.
  11. Communicate the value proposition of the products, systems, service, and packages.
  12. Gather competitive data on the market, product, and competitors, providing clear pricing indicators for projects.
  13. Communicate details in accordance with Hitachi Energy's offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
  14. Provide status reviews and propose recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls.
  15. Report monthly sales activities and customer visits, and request the sales forecast.

Your Background:

  1. Experience of 8-10 years in the Power Industry.
  2. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  3. Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
