Senior Accountant - Fully remote!*** Boston based company - fully remote role *** Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a world leader in the design and build of consumer robots to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will have hands-on responsibility for the month-end/year-end close process, preparation of SEC Reporting files, and technical accounting research/implementation.

This is a great opportunity to see all aspects of accounting as this role will be in charge of technical accounting research, SEC reporting, and general day to day accounting.

They are currently working 100% remote through 2020 and will transition to a hybrid model (1-2x's/week in office.
The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key contributor of month-end close process including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and flux analysis related to technical accounting areas including, but not limited to, revenue, leases, internal-use software, investments, and hedging.
Oversee the preparation of quarterly external financial statements including equity rollforward, other comprehensive income, and consolidated cash flow statements.
Assist with the preparation of all SEC filings, including the planning and execution of the filing, using Workiva software.
Perform research for disclosure requirements related to technical accounting issues and SEC requirements to ensure complete disclosures in filings.
Maintain and update XBRL tagging in accordance with SEC requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MSA and CPA preferred.
3+ years' of related experience, public accounting or mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred.
Solid understanding of US GAAP, including ability to research and form own conclusions.
