Job Description

  • Develop optimum production and raw material plans while managing inventory levels according to targets in order to achieve high customer service level (internal and external) – 50%
  • Prepare analysis on demand vs. supply to support business decisions by providing relevant information to avoid potential issues – 20%
  • Maintain material master data to support materials management and production planning – 5%
  • Participate in activities such as physical or cycle counting, safety stock and stock target settings, planner meetings, new product introduction, etc. – 15%
  • Continuous improvement projects – 10%


  • Make timely and accurate production plan to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory control:
    • Maintain inventory levels at agreed upon safety stock and target stock with the business from planning view.
  • Monitor slow moving and block stock items, and escalate for movement support.
  • First contact point for customer service representatives and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with CSR to assure order confirmation in the system.
  • Coordinate with the supplier the supply of raw material according to contracts maintained by Procurement.  Manage time of delivery to initiate adjustment if needed.  Monitor supplier performance, and provide feedback to lead buyer to improve the supplier performance.
  • Prepare data and report for the supply meeting, including in-depth analysis of supply/demand balance, scenarios to support escalations due to supply/demand imbalance, storage/fleet constraint, and/or raw material supply issue.

Requirements for Job
  • University graduate. 
  • Degree/Diploma in supply chain management is desirable
  • 3 years’ experience in planning functions, 
  • Practical knowledge of SAP and MS office tools
  • Good command of local language and English
  • Outstanding communication skills, ability to communicate at different levels of the  organization.
  • Good planning and organizing skills, strong analyzing and problem solving skills
  • Result oriented & stress resistant.
