Food/Drink Runner

Title: Expeditor/Food Runner

Primary Responsibilities: Coordination and consolidation for all outgoing food and drink items from the kitchen/bar ensuring high standards of plate presentation and food quality.

Essential Functions and Duties:

1. Receive all incoming food orders.

2. Organize tickets and assure ticket cook times meet or exceed our standards.

3. Communicate between the service staff and kitchen staff.

4. Complete all plate presentations per the recipe/plate presentation specifications.

5. Pass a final quality check on the food/drink for plate presentation, temperature, garnish and time.

6. Coordinate food delivery with food runners.

7. Set up expediter station, keeping it clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift.

8. All other job duties assigned by a manager in order to ensure the effective and orderly operations of the restaurant.

9. Run food/drink to always correct table on a service tray.

10. Anticipate Guests needs prior to leaving the table and remove and or prebus empty plates, trash or empty glass.
