The Lead Business Execution Consultant reports directly to the Data Management Leader within Corporate Risk Strategy & Planning Governance. The Lead Business Execution Consultant will be an active participant of the leadership team, and will provide execution support to enable the Data Management Leader to effectively manage the team and meet team's strategic priorities and deliverables. This role needs will collaborate with the leaders on the Data Management team and partners with Risk and Control groups.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Public accounting and auditing experience
  • 5+ years of consulting or regulatory experience in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial industry associated regulatory standards and agencies
  • Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
  • Experience developing improvement processes and implementation strategies
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
  • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to develop operational reporting and performing complex data analysis
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Experience with the principles of BCBS 239 and data management (DMBOK) and governance best practices
  • Subject matter expertise on data governance, data information modeling, and data aggregation controls
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
