Project Scheduler

HOLTEC International Camden, NJ Full-Time

This position is responsible for providing team members with useful tools and reports to help promote well informed business decisions and ensure successful project implementation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers to establish and maintain project baselines and schedules.
  • Monitor project schedules to identify risks or delays and recommend corrective actions to the Project Manager as required.
  • Produce Project Status Reports demonstrating the current health of ongoing projects to both Project Managers and/or Senior Management.
  • Gather, analyze and use data to report and improve upon existing processes and procedures.
  • Identify and generate new reporting methods to further optimize work flow and assure on time completion.
  • Professionally communicate with management both orally and in writing.
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Project Management Best Practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Data Processing and Reporting.
  • Knowledge of either Nuclear Power Plant or Fossil Plant Operations is desirable but not necessary.
Skills/Abilities:
  • Expertise with Project Scheduling Software (e.g. Primavera, MS Project) a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze data and generate useful reports.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors / Associates degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 0 – 5 Years Experience Desired.
