General Summary:

This position supports HACI personnel with Information Systems requests and issues that originates from Business as well as IS users. This position also provides support of services for client devices including but not limited to PCs, mobile devices, smartphones and printers.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Completes assigned Information Systems Service Desk activities.

  2. Work to resolve customer requests and incidents.

  3. Manages the life cycle of hardware/software including receiving, inventory, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.

  4. Applies OS images to client devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

  5. Replace old technology with new while maintaining the integrity of end user data and applications.

  6. Supports mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

  7. Shares knowledge and provides documentation of resolution methods.

  8. Supports Audio Visual devices in conference rooms.

  9. Provides first, second and occasionally third tier support for client computing devices and applications including but not limited to:

    • Windows Operating Systems

    • Microsoft Applications

    • MS SharePoint

    • Service Desk Ticketing System - Cherwell

    • Lotus Notes Email

    • Printers and Plotters

    • Minor hardware issues

    • VPN and RSA

    • Antivirus

    • Network

    • Phones

    • Mobile Devices

    • SAP

    • Team Center

    • CATIA



Education, Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

1.    Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field strongly preferred.

2.   5+ years experience in help/service desk environment troubleshooting and resolving level I and level II issues, occasionally level Ill issues.

3.   COMPTIA A+ certification preferred. 

4.    Microsoft certifications preferred.

  5. Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.

  6. Excellent organizational skills.

  7. Knowledge of installation, configuration and management of Desktop Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows, iOS, and other operating systems.

  8. Knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, Kronos, Team Center, CATIA, and others.

  9. Basic IP/Networking skills.

  10. Experience in Lenovo hardware preferred.



Physical Requirements:

  1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.

  2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

  3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

  4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties,

  5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.

  6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.

  7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 40 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.

  8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/items/equipment weighing up to 50Ibs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
