Principal Sustainment Analyst Trainer with Security Clearance
Basic Qualifications: * Thorough understanding of the Joint Sustainment enterprise at the operational level and the ability to train, observe, and provide feedback to joint force commanders and staffs as they conduct deliberate and crisis planning, assess the operational environment, and support the joint targeting process. * One of the following:
* Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional and/or military leadership experience. * Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional and/or military leadership experience. * Understanding of the requirements for staffs to support the commander's decision cycle. * Must be willing to travel worldwide, to include areas considered hazardous duty. * Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance once aboard. * Must be able to travel as needed (up to 30% of the time). * Must be able to work on-site in Suffolk, Virginia.
Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with all or some of the following warfighting and joint functions: Plans and Assessments, Sustainment, Intelligence, C2, Current Operations, Fires, Cyberspace Operations, and/or Space Operations. * Combatant Command, Joint Task Force, Division, Afloat staff, or Wing staff experience. * Joint Forces Staff College or Service equivalent. * Experience with the preparation and conduct of seminars or study groups for flag officers. * Ability to write and prepare operational orders and plans. * Experience in the compilation and presentation in both written and oral formats of lessons learned and after-action review material. * Experience with operational planning efforts at the operational and strategic levels.Salary Range: $88,600 - $133,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
