Robert Half is looking for a senior Travel Manager to help us develop and execute a global sourcing strategy for air, hotel, and car services. This role provides a unique opportunity to unify our global corporate spend while using our buying power to establish new discounts and benefits for our employees. The perfect candidate for this role is someone who has a deep understanding of the travel industry and the latest changes in technology that affect the dynamic pricing model. What you’ll be working on: Create a travel sourcing strategy and critical path for execution Lead strategy and negotiations with airlines, hotels and car service providers Streamline the contractual process for this category Work with our inhouse travel resources and TMC to implement newly negotiated agreements Work closely with Meeting/Events team to craft a unifying strategy that addresses both transient and events travel Assess new process improvements through new travel technologies Analyze travel spend data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities. Evaluate ongoing initiatives for continuous improvement.

-7-10 years travel agency or corporate travel experience. Any combination of education and procurement experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications.
-Deep understanding of the Global Business Travel industry, including service delivery, geo challenges, new trends and technologies, and processes.
-Team player with high level of initiative and personal responsibility.
-Experience with working in and managing projects.
-Ability to draw strategic insight from analysis, and to effectively summarize and present insight based on the needs of the audience
-Ability to interface / engage with travelers and suppliers via strong interpersonal skills (written, oral, and presentation)
-Highest standards of accuracy, precision, and organization
