Environmental Planner/Project Manager – Rochester, NY

We are currently seeking an Environmental Planner/ Project Manager for our Rochester, NY location. The ideal candidate shall be a self-motivated environmental planner or scientist with at least 10 -15 years of experience including site development and permitting, especially developing renewable energy projects. 

 
Responsibilities:
  • The candidate will be involved is many aspects of renewable energy site development efforts, including feasibility studies, local and state permitting, field investigation and project/contract management

  • Projects are anticipated to include renewable energy and environmental investigation/remediation projects

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Geology, Biology, Engineering or a closely related field

  • 10+ years of experience 

  • Emphasis on renewable energy permitting projects and/or environmental investigation/remediation, and environmental due diligence is desirable

  • New York State permitting experience also desirable, especially Article 10 experience. 

  • Must have excellent writing skills and computer skills (Word, Excel, Project)

  • Valid driver's license that meets Tetra Tech's insurance requirements is required
