The Medical Ethicist consults and offers guidance to patients, their families, and hospital staff on ethical concerns within the healthcare system. Provides ethics education for ongoing staff development. Develops and reviews institutional policies for compliance with health system policies, state, and federal law concerning ethical issues.
- Master’s degree in Ethics required
- At least 18 months experience working as a clinical ethicist with an active ethics committee is required
