Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Mid-level Software Engineer, Full Stack with an active Secret Clearance to support KMS and our government customer in Red Stone Arsenal, AL. We are currently offering a $5,000.00 bonus for this position.

Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the Sr. Agile Architect assists in the analysis, planning, and design of workflows, process flows, functional attributes, and map and develop milestones for Software Development Sprints. The software developers must support, modernize, and migrate multiple complex Line of Business (LoB) applications with significant front-end and back-end requirements. Developers support, test, and maintain functionality, issue resolution activities, security requirement. The developers also support access controls, change management packages, transition activities to include testing, pre-staging, and production environments as well lifecycle maintenance. The developers also provider crucial additions/ fixes or deletions and maintenance to the functionality, processes, outputs, dashboards, and other software components of the day-to-day datacenter operations. Software developers perform critical cybersecurity related activities and have direct interface with the customer to capture additional functionality and optimize designs, workflows, accesses, and assist in design SPRINT efforts.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience with aspects of multiple web frameworks and technologies. Should have advanced working knowledge of C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, .NET Framework, vbScript, XML, operating within a DoD environment with enabling technologies such as Apache Tomcat, Globalscape SFTP, Active Directory, RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXI 7.0+, Windows Server 2012/16/19+, SCCM, WSUS, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Advanced PowerShell, Enviromux, Cohesity, IIS, MS SQL, RHEL.

  • Experience with Software Reverse Engineering and Application Consolidation.

  • Coordinate test plans and provide documented results with criteria at every layer of development in coordination with the Lead Architect.

  • Configure or develop applications which ensure websites works across various browsers and devices (Android and IOS).

  • Prepare and maintain code repositories, data flows, story boards, and other development documentation.

  • Document and develop changes for new, modified, adds, or deletes of functionality within the code structures of existing systems.

  • Assist in efforts to modify systems to function in virtual environments in cooperation with modernizations efforts.

  • Ensure and maintain compliance in coordination with the cybersecurity team.

  • Performs administrative duties during off peak time for scheduled maintenance windows.

  • Perform bug fixes as required.

  • Assist with STIGs and POA&Ms as changes are made to any structure of the coded fabrics to support Cybersecurity and Change Management to ensure ATO and RMF reviews.

  • Software developers shall use Army Agile and standardization methodology in software development as required.

  • Ensures all developed code meet and supports security and regular customer IT systems as required by Department of Defense and Army standards, policies, and RMF controls to include IAVAs.

  • Participate and comply with review of content management, policies, and approval processes for development of public facing webpages.

  • Deliver the content to the web administrator in support of Directors for graphic enhancements prior to submitting to the webmaster.

  • Maintain a digital/electronic source of all promotional products, programs and concepts and responds to information requests for customer programs.

  • Communicates ideas, verbally and in writing, as well as prepare briefings for presentation to leadership and management staffs.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • BS in Software Development or related plus 60 months hands on experience.

  • Certification: IAT Level II or higher.

  • Active Secret Clearance

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
