Job Description:

The Global Services (GS) Business Sales Support Manager role is responsible for business development and sales strategy support and brings thought leadership to the development and management of sales plans, reports, and deliverables. This position also oversees and supports events and requires interface with business unit (BU) teams to collaborate on event management, communication, delivery and adherence to quality standards and project deliverables while integrating innovative solutions and technologies to the delivery of services. This position requires extensive consulting, communication, organizational, event planning and project management skills, and a full understanding of firm policies and procedures. Reports to the Business Sales Support Leader and is a member of the GS Team.

Business Sales Management Strategy and Support to Leadership and Sales Team

* Serve as liaison between market and BU and Marketing Communications and Sales (MCS) Team on strategic marketing initiatives, events and associated activities and materials.

* Collaborate with Business Development Leaders on identifying new services, solution offerings and sales strategies to support growth in market.

* Manage and conduct market and target research using source sites and provide analysis and reporting.

* Manage sales strategy and business development SharePoint sites including maintaining target lists and criteria, site applications and projects, and content and workflows.

* Manage and maintain opportunity level reports and pursuit templates by industry vertical or subvertical in development of existing and new service pipelines.

* Create, edit, and format sales reports using various data subscriptions and technologies such as Excel, VBA macros, Tableau and Power BI to automate and streamline process.

* Support Customer Relationship Management (CRM) pipeline and administration including data research, opportunity entries and tracking, forecasting and analysis and dashboard, and report creation.

* Manage and update information utilizing CRM and external data sources.

* Support client services on CRM processes and navigating system to maintain accuracy and consistent practices.

* Manage and prepare customized RFPs and proposals for multiple industries ensuring quality assurance, and firm standards and determined procedures are followed.

* Support sales team with research and meetings, including scheduling, communications, agendas, materials, CRM updates, and documentation.

* Create, edit, and format presentations and associated materials for BU sales meetings, field sales, conferences, prospects, and client opportunities.

* Manage and host and support web conferencing using Microsoft Teams, Zoom and associated technologies.

Event Management Strategy and Support

* Manage and implement detailed project plans for external client and prospect events including timelines, budget, logistics, resourcing, production, and service delivery.

* Manage stakeholder relations and communications to identify conference and event needs, provide status updates and ensure customer satisfaction.

* Manage local vendor relations and develop and negotiate plans and agreements for all aspects of event including venue, catering, audio visual, and other areas.

* Oversee and administer event contract process, including advance identification of concessions, negotiations, and signature requirements.

* Coordinate with BU Leader and MDS to evaluate and ensure marketing promotion and publicity of event.

* Manage event invitations, registrations, attendee list, communications, speakers, and presenters as well as execution of all pre-event deliverables.

* Proactively anticipate and manage through any issues and troubleshoot/resolve any emerging problems during the event.

* Manage invoice payment with venue and other vendors.

* Conduct pre and post event evaluations and propose recommendations to improve future services and event quality including ROI of conference attendance, sponsorship and speaking engagements.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of seven years relevant experience as an administrative sales support manager leading projects and strategic initiatives in a professional services firm.

* Bachelor's degree is required.

* Expertise with event and project management software, streaming content delivery platforms along with meeting technology including audio visual equipment, industry software and web and video conferencing is required.

* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional, Outlook, SharePoint and webcasting applications are required with ability to learn various other programs.

* Expertise with data analysis and reporting using advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and VBA macros along with Power BI and Tableau are required.

* Expertise working with a client relationship management software (CRM) such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar software is required.

* Experience reviewing and negotiating event related contracts and supporting mid-to-large scale events.

* Extensive technical and administrative background with excellent competency in grammar and attention to detail and ability to bring thought leadership, strategy and creativity to content, design and implementation of marketing and business development materials.

* Highly effective and polished verbal, writing, facilitation and presentation skills with excellent listening and questioning skills to understand client needs.

* Professional presence, positive attitude, and exceptional client service skills, with ability to build professional and respectful working relationships at all levels internal and/or external to the firm.

* Highly effective project planning and negotiation skills with a high energy level and ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and events while leveraging others across departments to support activities.

* Strong persuasion, decision-making, critical thinking, problem solving, research and analytics skills to identify trends and make recommendations.

* Agile mindset to manage through and navigate last minute changes and adjust to unforeseeable circumstances and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

* Process oriented, accurate and quality focused with the ability to effectively use technology to solve business problems and create efficiencies in sales development and event planning.

* Ability to establish credibility, be decisive and lead through difficult conversations, facilitate challenging discussions and accept and deliver feedback in a constructive, professional, and developmental manner.

* Agile and flexible with ability to demonstrate openness to new challenges, opportunities, continuous learning, and able to easily adapt to change and lead others through change.

* Ability to handle key assignments of confidential nature, exercise a high degree of discretion and confidentiality in all work products and communications.

* Ability to understand and strictly adhere to the quality standards and procedures established by Crowe, including brand standards and guidelines.

Additional Requirements:

* Ability to work flexible schedule and hours based on projects, events, and associated activities.

* Ability to travel based on business needs for sales development and events or associated meetings.
