Quality Control operator needed for a client in Dudley Mass. 12 hour rotating shifts
Pay rate 12.38 to start
Responsibilities of a Quality Control operator include operating machines and tools used in many processes such as: De-gating, inspecting, inking, packaging, runner duties, as well as inspection of coated lenses. Duties include: secondary de-gating of lenses, inspection duties, to include sorting and verifying; preparation of trucks, including FIFO, scanning reload sheets, creating labels with the correct router sheet
and loading of trays onto trucks, ensuring product quality; checking for mis-packs, tabs, and coating defects, ink and package lenses per work instructions, ensuring all safety processes and procedures are followed, check trays for damage using a go/no-go gauge. I order to safely and accurately complete these tasks the individual must be capable of completing repetitive motions and pulling, pushing, or lifting up to 50 lbs. They must actively participate and share knowledge with team members; Attends and participates in internal team meetings. Supports the success of the team and takes initiative and responsibility to
ensure the team’s goals and objectives are met.
Requirement: High-school diploma or GED
