Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for:

POSITION:  Senior Engineer – Automation and Robotics

LOCATION: Dacula, Georgia

SALARY:  $85-105K

DEGREE:   Required

EXPERIENCE:  5+ Years Experience with PLC Automation and Robotics

RELOCATION:  Assistance Available.

The primary function of this role will be the design, installation, and programming of complex robotics and interfacing with PLCs and HMI systems.

General Description

Performs all required maintenance of automation programs and make changes as needed

Aids in the development of the automation continuous improvement

Strong Experience and knowledge of Machine Safety design and requirements. (Robot safeties, operator safeties, experience with programming various safety PLCs, and device such as area scanners.)

Troubleshoot electrical problems using electrical schematics and meters

Complete responsibility in safety PLC procedures

Develop and train on preventative forms for all equipment installed on floor

Supervises line rate efficiency to get a better result through PLC changes

Develop training program for maintenance associates

Supervises the robot operation to detect opportunities to reduce line cycle time

Design ladder circuits in PLC in order to get a better result in line efficiency rate

Ability to develop, troubleshoot, maintain software

Create and modify electrical schematics

Consult with supplier and team members

Develop off-line PLC, Safety PLC and PLC programming


A Bachelor's degree.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in controls and automation (production and process experience preferred)
