IT Project Manager/Solution Architect

• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences & educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of IT
• Working knowledge of Cloud services and coming trends in the Cloud space, specifically around data analytics as a service
• Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends, especially data pipeline and data analysis tools and services, infrastructure automation, networking, storage and cloud-based delivery models
• Working knowledge of technologies such as Databricks to implement inbound and outbound data pipelines to support various data types
• Understanding of current structure and operations of data analytics environments supported by OSD’s Advana capability
• Oversight experience on transformational projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams
• Experience with Data Warehousing, cloud-based Big Data technologies, and data pipeline concepts and practical implementation experience
• Experience with design/implementation/consulting of distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on Cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages like Spark SQL, Scala, Python, R, and/or Java.
• Serving as a hands-on subject matter expert for DevOps and Automation in a cloud environment
• Experience working with Agile methodology to manage project demand, tracking, monitoring and execution
• Proven track record of building trusted technical and business relationships with business executives and driving growth in highly strategic or key accounts
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills leveraging all available resources
• Strong foundation of knowledge around cloud platforms like Azure and AWS and the cloud ecosystem
• Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
• Demonstrated technical thought leadership in customer facing situations
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
• High initiative, self-motivation and drive to exceed expectations

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

• 10+ years of data management experience
• 10+ years of Microsoft SQL server experience and knowledge of Transaction-SQL, Stored Procedures and SQL Queries
• A Bachelors college degree is required
• Must be US Citizen
• Must have or be able to attain a TOP SECRET security clearance

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is performed in a hybrid setting with semi-frequent travel to Eastern European countries.
