Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the company's annual premium tax returns

  • Prepare state income tax provisions or returns

  • Prepare state municipal tax returns

  • Address sales/use tax filings

  • Prepares personal property tax returns

  • Assist with preparation of federal tax provisions


Requirements of a Senior Tax Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required

  • 3+ years of insurance tax experience

  • CPA designation is preferred
