Kforce has a client in Wellesley Hills, MA that is seeking a UX Designer.

Summary:
The Digital Client Solutions team was formed to innovate how customers interact digitally with our wide variety of health and financial products. We are a team of designers, engineers and product owners who are passionate about using technology to raise the bar within the insurance industry. Our UX team is helping to set a new standard by transforming how we approach the digital product experience so that it's user-centered and design-led. We are seeking a UX Designer to support the design of small to medium features in one or more of our key platforms. This role will work on the full design lifecycle for projects: understanding both user and business needs, sketching and brainstorming solutions, wireframing and prototyping screen flows. The UX Designer will turn long-term visions into detailed designs and then collaborate with product owners and engineers to see that they are built to your specifications. This role is perfect for someone who has a track record designing digital products and wants to collaborate with other designers on larger, more complex applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Practice a user-centered, insights-driven approach to product design

  • Collaborate with senior design talent: taking direction from them and supporting their vision and priorities

  • Support one to two engineering teams depending on the speed and complexity of your projects

  • Collaborate with a tight-knit product and engineering team that follows modern agile practices

  • Express early/foundational design directions through user flows, sketches and wireframes

  • Apply design principles, design systems and regular collaboration across programs to support a cohesive product experience

  • Define detailed visual and UI design through visual comps, prototypes and design specifications

  • Perform basic design validation through user testing, surveys

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two or more years of experience in a similar role

  • Prior experience as part of an agile team that supported one or more products in-market

  • Some familiarity in continuous delivery and comfortable impacting design and product decisions in fast-moving and ever-changing environment

  • Skilled in developing both the UX and UI of a product

  • Skilled in collaborative wireframing and prototyping using Figma and Sketch

  • Familiar working with product owners and engineering teams - grooming design work, compromising on scope, responding to feedback

  • Some experience conducting or collaborating in user research activities

  • A portfolio demonstrating a variety of prior design projects that you contributed to and were eventually brought to market

  • A sense of humor and humility

  • Stay nimble and iterative - evolving the approach based on new ideas and pressures from within and outside the team
